Annie Lin and Steven Hall have each enjoyed careers as orchestral soloists, recitalists, and chamber musicians throughout the major music centers of the United States, Europe, and Asia. The husband and wife team joined forces as a piano duo in 2000, and have subsequently presented both duet and duo-piano concerts throughout the US and Asia. After receiving their doctorates studying with the world renowned pianist-teacher John Perry from the University of Southern California, they founded the Brandeis Piano Conservatory in Richardson, Texas. In addition to their performing and teaching careers, they are frequently in demand as adjudicators and clinicians at the state, local and national levels. Their conference presentations include It Takes Two to Tangle? Or Tango at the 2012 Texas Music Teachers Association’s State Convention, Audio Recording Primer For The Independent Teaching Studio at the 2010 Music Teacher National Association National Conference, and Survival Skills 101: Performing Musicians of the 21st Century–Addressing Your Audience at the 2009 National Keyboard Pedagogy Conference.
Dr. Lin premiered the recording of Michael Garson’s compositions for Capital Records, and her solo piano album, Annie Lin was the premier compact disc release for BPC Recording Company. She has further dedicated herself as a collaborative pianist, recording more than one hundred compact discs with young artists of all instruments, also on the BPC Recording label. In addition, Dr. Lin is in frequent demand as a collaborator for instrumental recitals and competitions at the local, state, national and international levels. Formerly the head of the piano division at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas, Dr. Lin has been an Assistant Professor at Scripps College in Claremont, California, at Southern Methodist University and a Lecturer at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Hall was chosen by the Ibach Piano Company as their first American artist representative since the company’s inception in 1794 and has released two compact discs featuring the instrument -- Steven Hall, ACA Digital Recording Company's premier release, and Classic Piano, also on the ACA label. He is the President of BPC Recording Company which devotes itself primarily to producing high quality CD and DVD recordings for young instrumental performing artists and to date, has produced approximately 150 releases. Since 2009, Dr. Hall has been the Editor of CD and DVD Reviews for Clavier Companion-The Piano Magazine. He is currently Vice-President of the Dallas Music Teachers Association and serves on its Board of Directors. Since 2003, Dr. Hall has been the Technical and Stage Director of the National Keyboard Conference on Pedagogy (NCKP) and has been on the faculty of Georgia Perimeter College, Columbus State University, the University of Southern California, Texas Women’s University, and Southern Methodist University.
